Prof Baber is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The University of Sydney. Prof Baber is a life member and Past President of both the Australasian menopause Society and the International Menopause Society. He was editor in chief of Climacteric from 2016-2024 and chair of the scientific programme committee for the 2024 World Congress on Menopause held in Melbourne. His awards include the RANZCOG Distinguished service medal, The IMS Lifetime Achievement and Distinguished Service awards and Membership of The order of Australia for service to Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
